Dhaval Patel

Dhaval Patel has extensive experience in the field of robotics and software engineering. Dhaval is currently working as a Robotics Software Engineer at Teleo, where they started in March 2022. Prior to this, Dhaval worked at SCU Robotic Systems Lab from April 2021 to March 2022 as a Robotics Software Engineer.

Before joining SCU Robotic Systems Lab, Dhaval worked at Santa Clara University in various roles. From January 2020 to June 2021, they served as a Teaching Assistant, assisting in organizing lab coursework and grading assignments for multiple courses. Dhaval also worked as a Graduate Assistant from January 2020 to March 2020.

In 2020, Dhaval gained industry experience as an Automation Intern at FormFactor Inc. Their responsibilities included developing automation solutions.

Dhaval's work experience also includes a role as a Software Development Engineer at BreatheDigital B.V. in 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Zenn Systems from June 2018 to February 2019, where they developed C++ software for ARM-based robotic systems and performed dynamic and kinematic analysis of robotic mechanisms.

Dhaval Patel earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ganpat University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Robotics and Mechatronic Systems from Santa Clara University, which took place from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Dhaval obtained various certifications, including "Design Patterns in Modern C++," "Mastering Data Structures and Algorithms using C++," "ROS for Beginners I," "ROS: SLAM and Navigation," "Robotics: Perception," "Convolutional Neural Networks," and "Path Planning Algorithm for Autonomous Mobile Robot in a Static Environment." Dhaval also participated in the E-Yantra Ideas competition in 2018, attended a workshop on Microcontrollers and Actuators, and was involved in the Shodh - GNU Student Research Convention in 2018. Dhaval's educational achievements include a wide range of experiences in both academia and practical applications.
