Mark Christmas

Mark Christmas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Their most recent position was as the Head of Professional Services at Telepin starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Telepin as the DB Architect and Head of Development from April 2018.

Before joining Telepin, Mark worked at Oracle from 2007 to 2017, where they held various positions. Mark started as a Senior Software Manager in the Oracle CGBU Cloud Native Environment, responsible for coordinating a team of cloud architects. Mark then became a Senior Manager and later a Manager for OSS Performance projects, leading international teams of Performance Analysts. Prior to that, they were a Performance Analyst at Oracle Communications Global Business Unit, where they also took on Team Lead responsibilities.

Mark also has experience working at MetaSolv Software as a Performance Analyst from 2003 to 2007 and at Orchestream as a Technical Advisor from 2001 to 2003. Mark started their career at CrossKeys Systems Corp., where they held the role of Technical Advisor from 1995 to 2001, providing technical direction, customer support, and DBA support for the development team.

In 1988, Mark worked at the Royal Bank of Canada as a Technical Consultant and later as a Senior Technical Systems Analyst, where they provided support and guidance on data modeling and operational procedures.

Mark Christmas attended the University of Toronto from 1983 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science for Data Management. In March 2018, they obtained a certification in Oracle 12c Database Administration from LinkedIn.
