Asit Tandon

Asit Tandon currently serves as the Chief Network and Information Technology Officer at Telesat since January 2025. Previously, Tandon held the position of Vice President Network Engineering & Operations at Rogers Communications from February 2020 to January 2025. Prior to that, Tandon was the Head of Network Operations at Hutchison 3 Indonesia from January 2017 to February 2020. Tandon's extensive experience in network operations at Bharti Airtel spanned nearly a decade, during which various roles were undertaken, including Chief Technology Officer for specific regional circles and Head of Core Networks. Tandon began a professional career at Siemens, where service management leadership was demonstrated from November 1992 to March 2007. Asit Tandon earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Delhi College of Engineering in 1992.
