David Cubbage

David Cubbage has over 35 years of experience in the satellite and telecommunications industry. David began their career at Motorola in 1984, where they held the role of Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff until 2007. Following this, David joined Iridium and served as Associate Director of Spacecraft Development and Satellite Production from 2007 to 2014, and then as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff for the NEXT Satellite Production from 2014 to 2019. Most recently, they joined Telesat in 2019, where they have held various roles including LEO Satellite and Production, Sr. Director of Telesat Lightspeed Program Delivery, and currently, Vice President of Lightspeed Program Delivery.

David Cubbage obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
