Stuart Black

Stuart Black has a diverse work experience spanning many years in the sales and marketing field. Stuart started their career at Watmoughs Plc as a Graduate Management Trainee in 1986. After that, they worked at BMDS as a Sales Account Manager in Retail Services. In 1988, they joined Next Plc as a Direct Marketing Manager responsible for developing DM strategies and managing a multi-million-pound budget.

In 1991, Stuart became a Consultant at 2 Direkt - DM Consultancy before moving on to Jowetts Direct (Watmoughs Plc) as a Sales & Marketing Director in 1992. Stuart worked at John Blackburn Limited as the Marketing Director (DMS) from 2001 to 2009.

Stuart then became the Sales & Marketing Director/Co-Owner at Blackburns DMS from 2009 to 2010. After that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at The Lettershop Group from 2010 to 2015.

In 2015, Stuart joined Telescope Group Limited as the Head of Sales & Marketing, where they were responsible for providing print, database, direct mail production, and other communication solutions to customer/partners. The company merged with Absolute Direct Marketing in 2018 to form Telescope, where Stuart continued as the Head of Sales & Marketing.

Stuart Black's education history begins in 1968 when they attended Whinmoor C Of E for six years, where they focused on the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. From 1976 to 1983, they attended Wetherby High School, where they completed their O-Levels and A-Levels, demonstrating their ability to excel in a challenging academic environment. Following this, Stuart pursued higher education at Lancaster University from 1983 to 1986, earning their Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English. Apart from these educational accomplishments, Stuart does not have any additional certifications.
