John Fracassi started their work experience at Rutgers University in 1998 as a Software Engineer, where they assisted graduate students with the installation of Coastal Ocean Radars. John also designed and developed integrated applications using JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, and Matlab for data processing and display.

In 2001, John joined InnovaSystems, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. John gathered and analyzed software system requirements for a pharmaceutical client, and designed, developed, and tested the software system.

In 2006, John joined Oracle as a Principal Software Engineer. John co-designed and developed integration with Oracle Public Cloud and Bare Metal Cloud, and also developed a Java-based viewer for OPC. John further developed a set of Spring Boot micro-services for synchronizing content from Oracle OCI and Amazon S3.

In 2019, John joined EcoDigital, LLC where they continued to work as a Principal Software Engineer after the company was acquired from Oracle. John converted a legacy monolith into re-usable Spring Boot micro-services and created an API Gateway and Discovery service.

Most recently, John joined Telestream in 2020 as a Principal Software Engineer.

John Fracassi earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics from McGill University between 1993 and 1997. John also obtained a Certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford University and acquired several Certifications from Oracle University, including Developing Web Services with JAX-WS and JAX-RS, Developing Applications with Java EE 6 on WebLogic Server 12c, and Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) MOOC. In addition, they received a certification in Spring: Design Patterns from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
