Mike Nacey

Mike Nacey has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and technology. Mike currently holds the position of Vice President of Data Engineering at TeleTracking, where they are responsible for leading the data engineering team. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Engineering, Data Platform, where they led four teams of engineers and worked on ingesting COVID-19 data to provide valuable information to customers. Mike also played a key role in building a cutting-edge data platform using various technologies such as Apache Spark, Scala, Python, Kafka, Delta Lake, and Snowflake.

Before joining TeleTracking, Mike worked as a Tech Lead Manager, Software Architect, and Senior Software Engineer. Mike'sexperience at TeleTracking dates back to 2000 when they started as a Software Developer. During their initial role, they were involved in various tasks, including designing and creating the company's network infrastructure, developing applications, and managing mixed infrastructure of Windows, Linux, and Novell.

Prior to their career at TeleTracking, Mike served in the US Air Force as an Avionics Technician.
