David Kim is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in robotics and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a DevOps Engineer and Hardware Verification Engineer at Telexistence since April 2024, David previously held roles at Sanctuary AI as a Robotics Co-op, contributing to the enhancement of a humanoid robot's design and development. At UBC, David was the Mechanical Team Lead for the Robocup@Home project and worked as a Teaching Assistant for fluid labs in the Mechanical Engineering department. With additional experience as a Design Engineering Intern at Genesis Robotics & Motion Technologies, and Open Educational Resource Developer at UBC, David has a strong foundation in mechanical design, programming, and team leadership.
