Michela Lai

Michela Lai is an experienced professional in quality assurance and software development, currently serving as QA Cloud Manager at Telit Cinterion since October 2017, following roles as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and Software Developer, with expertise in the LwM2M communication protocol and product certification. Prior to this, Michela worked as a Software Developer at Vitrociset from May 2013 to September 2017, focusing on real-time software applications in multi-threaded environments, predominantly on Linux platforms. Early experiences include a visiting academic role at the University of Southampton under Dr. Maria Battarra and software development at Meridionale Innovazioni Trasporti Scarl, where specialized algorithms for transport logistics were implemented and validated. Michela earned a PhD in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Cagliari (2010-2013) and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university (2006-2009).
