João M.'s work experience is as follows:

From February 2017 to present, João has worked at Tellus as a Senior Engineering Manager. At this fintech company, João manages an international team of 10+ developers, providing guidance and mentoring to junior developers.

From January 2019 to March 2021, João worked as a Lead Mobile Engineer at Tellus. In this role, they managed the entire lifecycle of Android and iOS applications, including concept, architecture, development, testing, and release. João also automated common tasks and led an international team of mobile engineers.

From February 2017 to January 2019, João worked as a Senior Mobile Engineer at Tellus. During this time, they refactored and migrated the iOS codebase from Objective-C to Swift. João also developed the in-app chat system and the property management platform for iOS and Android.

From 2015 to 2017, João worked at Bliss Applications as an iOS Engineer. João developed new applications in Swift for new clients and provided maintenance services for apps in the company's portfolio in legacy Objective-C. Additionally, João mentored colleagues in adopting Swift.

From 2013 to 2015, João worked at Portugal Telecom as a Telecommunications Engineer. In this role, they developed scripts and applications to simplify the management and maintenance of the optical network, tested and validated ONT and OLT software, and resolved complex GPON issues.

João M. obtained a Masters of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, where they studied from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Colégio São João de Brito, although the specific degree and field of study during that time are unknown. In addition to their education, João M. received a certification as a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in April 2022.
