T Zhu

Co-Founder at Tellus

T Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career at TECC, Inc. as the US Director and VP of Curriculum Development from 2004 to 2005. Following that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Stanford Neural Prosthetics Lab in 2005, where they focused on optimizing DSP algorithms for neural signal processing. They then joined Zazzle as an Engineer from 2005 to 2008, where they contributed to the development of the company's manufacturing support system and implemented a caching layer for the main website. In 2007, they co-founded MyListo, a social shopping company, where they served as the CTO until 2008. From 2009 to 2011, they co-founded and served as the CTO of More Corn, a Facebook apps company that was later acquired by Multiply (now Answers). In 2011, T Zhu joined Answers as the Director of Engineering, Crowd Social Division, where they integrated More Corn's apps into Answer's suite of products. They then co-founded and served as the CEO of Sodacan, a social consumer mobile apps company, from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, T Zhu became the Co-Founder and CTO of a stealth fintech startup backed by 500 Startups, focused on improving US banking and payment systems. Lastly, in 2016, they co-founded Tellus.

T Zhu completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University in Biological Sciences and Computer Science, between the years 2001 and 2005.
