Tyron Pretorius has had a varied work experience since 2012. Tyron began their career with a Mechanical Engineering Masters at Trinity College Dublin, where they designed and constructed an experimental rig and data acquisition system to compare the performance of the Sleeved Pneumatic Artificial Muscle (SPAM) to the conventional McKibben Muscle. Tyron also worked as a Product Development Engineer, helping to design the Wi-Force smart cutting tools and identify optimum locations for Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) strain sensors. In 2015, they worked as a Statistical and Software Intern for Denis Wood Associates Ltd, where they established a crash test database and created repair cost probability plots. In 2017, they participated in the ESTEEM Graduate Program at the University of Notre Dame, where they validated the business potential of a new water pitcher design. In 2018, they co-founded Maxx Start and worked as a Product Launch Freelancer for Airfold. In 2019, they were the Product Launch Manager for Igbo Board Game and the Marketing Operations Manager for Telnyx. In 2020, they were the Marketing Operations Blogger for The Workflow Pro and the Ambassador for MO Pros.

Tyron Pretorius completed a Masters of Engineering (MAI) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin in 2017. Tyron then went on to obtain a Engineering, Science, and Technology Entreprensurship Excellence Masters from the University of Notre Dame in 2018. Tyron has also obtained several certifications, including a Marketo REST API Crash Course from The Workflow Pro in 2022, a Marketo Certified Associate from Marketo, an Adobe Company in 2019, a Certified Solidworks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in 2017, an Advanced Google Analytics from Google Analytics Academy in 2021, a Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy in 2021, an Adobe Certified Master - Marketo Engage Architect from Adobe in 2021, and a Marketo Certified Expert from Marketo, an Adobe Company in 2020.
