Don has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Don is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Telos since October 2021. Prior to this, Don founded their own company, CALEOS, in June 2018. Before CALEOS, they worked as a Software Engineer II at Beast Code from October 2019 to September 2021. Don also gained experience as a Software Engineer at 2NDNATURE from September 2016 to March 2019 and as a Software Developer at Civinomics from June 2015 to December 2015.

Don obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, between 2013 and 2016. In 2021, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology for Computer Science. Don also holds a certification as a Professional Scrum Developer I, obtained from Scrum.org in August 2020.
