Simon Zhu

Simon Zhu is a highly experienced finance professional with extensive expertise in financial control, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Manager of Financial Control at TelstraSuper since September 2016, Simon leads a team and is responsible for optimizing financial operations, statutory financial reporting, and various critical financial processes. Prior to this role, Simon held positions as a Senior Financial & Regulatory Analyst and Financial Accountant at TelstraSuper, where proficiency in statutory financial reporting and GL systems was demonstrated. Simon's career began at Vision Super, where roles ranged from Finance Officer to Financial Accountant, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and compliance. Simon holds multiple qualifications, including a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, an Investment Foundations Certificate, and a Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation), alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from RMIT University.
