Alan Anderson

Alan Anderson currently serves as the Head of Corporate Strategy & Planning at Telstra, where significant responsibilities include finance leadership across various functional units, including Global Networks & Technology and Corporate Units. Prior experience at Telstra encompasses roles such as Executive in Investment Planning & Technology Economics and General Manager of Corporate Strategy, focusing on strategic issues and growth opportunities. Prior to joining Telstra, Alan held positions at McKinsey & Company as Engagement Manager, served as Senior Adviser to Treasurer Peter Costello, and worked as Ministerial Adviser to Attorney-General Philip Ruddock. Alan began a career in software engineering at CSC Australia and has a strong educational background, including a Master of Computer Science focusing on Data Science from the University of Illinois and financial qualifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Alan holds first-class honors degrees in both Law and Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
