Chris Ellis

Chris Ellis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in software engineering and information technology, currently serving as Executive Director [Acting] - Head of Software Engineering & IT at Telstra since August 2012. Ellis has held various leadership roles within Telstra, including Executive | Director for Telstra International IT and several acting positions overseeing corporate and cloud technologies. With a background that includes directorships at Singtel and Optus, as well as prior positions at Coca Cola Licensee in Germany and Galaxis Technology, Ellis brings a wealth of knowledge in transformation management, global delivery, and business development. Educational credentials include an MBA in Information Technology from the University of New England and participation in executive leadership programs with McKinsey & Company and Macquarie Business School. Ellis is also involved with SAP Advisory Council and serves as a board member for Pivotal Labs Sydney at VMware.
