Derrick Heng

Derrick Heng is a seasoned Senior Project Manager at Telstra, with extensive experience in delivering data and voice infrastructure projects, particularly on the Westpac integrated account since July 2009. Notable achievements include overseeing the Westpac Institutional Banking Domestic and International Data network across multiple global locations including Sydney, China, and New York. Previously, Derrick served as a Project Manager for data, voice, and security projects on the Qantas Integrated Account, executing significant initiatives like the Next Generation Check-in rollout. Prior experience includes a role as a Consultant at Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond, where responsibilities encompassed project planning and governance for various major projects, and earlier project management roles at Telstra focused on ICT infrastructure for Qantas. Derrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering from UNSW.
