Ethan Smart

Ethan Smart is a highly experienced Senior Security Engineer at Telstra, with a career spanning from February 2014 to the present. Ethan leads a team of network designers in integrating Algosec tools into Telstra's networks and serves as a subject matter expert for both Algosec Firewall Analyzer & FireFlow and Telstra’s internal hosting platform. Prior roles include Security Engineer and Network Security Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed designing complex network and firewall solutions, administering Algosec platforms, and planning network maintenance. Before joining Telstra, Ethan worked as a System Administrator at BMT Design & Technology and a Support Technician at DJC Systems. Ethan holds a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology focused on Network Design and Security and several diplomas in Information Technology from Swinburne University of Technology.
