Helen Phyland

Helen Phyland is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in remuneration and benefits management. Currently serving as the Head of Executive Remuneration and Head of Reward at Telstra since November 2019, Helen has previously held key roles including Global Head of Remuneration and Benefits at Afterpay Touch and Global Director of Remuneration, Benefits, Payroll & HR Services at Treasury Wine Estates, where responsibilities included global oversight of remuneration and preparation of Board papers and annual reports. Additionally, Helen has a proven track record at Asciano as General Manager of Human Resources and in various HR roles at Telstra, contributing significantly to HR systems, employee retention, and remuneration strategy. Helen holds a Bachelor of Business in Management & HR from RMIT University.
