John McKenzie

John McKenzie is currently serving as a Committee Member at the Cape Hope Foundation since January 2024, contributing to community support initiatives in Northern Tasmania. Previously, from January 2023, John has held the position of Senior Climate & Environment Specialist at Telstra, focusing on environmental commitments and sustainability reporting. Prior to Telstra, John worked at Deloitte for nearly nine years, progressing through various roles from Analyst to Senior Manager in Sustainability and Climate. John holds a Bachelor of Business in Professional Accountancy from RMIT University, a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and has pursued further education in Carbon Management at Murdoch University.
