Matthew O'Brien

Matthew O'Brien is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and strategic partnerships. Currently serving as the General Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Telstra since February 2020, Matthew drives organizational growth through relationship management and negotiation of strategic alliances. Additionally, Matthew holds the title of Products and Technology Executive and Group Owner for Cyber Security, focusing on product strategy and market delivery across multiple customer segments. Prior to joining Telstra, Matthew served as the Global Director for Security Detection and Investigation Services at DXC Technology, where responsibilities included leading global security initiatives. Matthew’s career also encompasses significant roles at CSC, where responsibilities spanned cybersecurity, technology strategy, and managed security services. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology from the University of Wollongong and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University.
