Narelle Devine

Narelle Devine CSM is the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Telstra, a role they have held since 2024 after serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for Asia Pacific from 2020 to 2024. With a military background as a Commander in the Royal Australian Navy, Narelle specialized in Communications, Electronic Warfare, and Cyber Operations from 1994 to 2017. Prior to their current position, they were the Chief Information Security Officer at the Australian Government’s Department of Human Services for four years. Narelle also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Deakin University and holds three advanced degrees in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from UNSW Australia.
