Tarak Patel

Tarak Patel is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in service assurance and technical support. Currently serving as a UC Technical Expert at Telstra since September 2022, Tarak previously held the position of Service Assurance Manager at the Australian Department of Defence from November 2020 to September 2022, focusing on regional ICT operations. Prior experience includes a role as Information Technology Officer at the Bureau of Meteorology from February 2012 to November 2020, where responsibilities included managing IT business services and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Tarak began a career in IT as Team Leader Service Desk at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Learning in Victoria, Australia, from March 2009 to February 2012.
