Aliya Rahiman

Aliya Rahiman, MPA, is an experienced professional in Indigenous Relations, currently serving as the Indigenous Connectivity Liaison at TELUS. Prior to this, they worked at TransLink as an Indigenous Relations Consultant and at the Vancouver Police Department, where they held roles including Crisis Intervention Caseworker and Crisis Response Worker from 2017 to 2021. Aliya's earlier experience includes positions as a non-emergency call-taker with the Delta Police Department and a call-taker at E-Comm 9-1-1. They hold a Master of Public Administration from the University of Saskatchewan and are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
