Alvin Yip

Alvin Yip has extensive experience in technology management and testing, currently serving as a Manager at TELUS since September 2008, where responsibilities include leading the Device Technology Evolution team, managing roadmaps for device technologies, and supporting new feature introductions in consumer products. Previously held roles at TELUS include Design Specialist, overseeing relationships with multiple OEMs and chipset manufacturers, and managing projects related to device evolution. Alvin's career also encompasses positions at Research In Motion as an Interoperability Test Specialist, where network testing for BlackBerry devices was conducted, and various roles in quality assurance and protocol testing. Alvin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
