Christy M.

Christy M. is an experienced manager and reconciliation strategy lead at TELUS since December 2022. Prior to this role, Christy served as the Director of Indigenous Initiatives at Trellis from September 2020 to December 2022, following a similar position at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary from March 2016 to September 2020, where programming for Indigenous youth was a focus. Christy's earlier career includes the role of Executive Director of the Calgary Urban Aboriginal Initiative from June 2002 to January 2016, overseeing initiatives aimed at supporting the urban Aboriginal community. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Social Work from Mount Royal University.
