Dimitar Genov is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in Android development and software engineering. Currently serving as Android Senior Tech Lead at TELUS since May 2018, Dimitar leads a team of developers focused on various applications and services, including the Telus TV+ app and standalone video player solutions. Prior to TELUS, Dimitar worked as an instructor at the University of Toronto, teaching mobile applications, and as a Senior Android Developer at Rogers Digital Media, where technical direction and code quality were primary responsibilities. Experience also includes significant roles at Claystone Inc., Cryptologic Inc., RealTime Gaming, and several other organizations, contributing to a diverse range of projects, from gaming frameworks to e-learning programs. Dimitar holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management from Gabrovo Technical University and a Post-Master's degree in E-commerce Solutions Development from IADT Toronto.
