Eric Liang

Eric Liang is currently a DHT at TELUS, where they provide customers with tailored telecommunication, home security, and health solutions. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and have previously worked as a Process Engineer, gaining extensive expertise in system relief and flare design, process troubleshooting, and risk-based mechanical integrity. Eric’s past roles include Engineering Assistant at the City of Hamilton and various engineering positions at HCC Engineering, Swift LLC, and Lloyd's Register Americas, where they demonstrated proficiency in multiple engineering software and methodologies. Additionally, Eric has volunteered with the Tzu Chi Foundation and contributed to projects during their time at the University of Waterloo, including research on artificial kidneys and materials processing.
