Gillian Whitebread

Gillian Whitebread is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Vice President. Ms Whitebread joined the Company in September 2018 and leads the Company’s efforts to create a world class culture resulting in great employee and client experiences. Ms Whitebread has well over 20 years of significant HR and business experience and a track record for building top teams and establishing a thriving organizational culture in the workplace. Immediately prior to joining Morneau Shepell, Ms Whitebread was Vice President, Human Resources of CIBC’s Technology & Operations and Client Connectivity & Innovation team, helping to lead CIBC’s digital, workplace and business model transformation. In addition to her corporate experience, Ms Whitebread sits on the board of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. She graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Certified HR Leader designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association.
