Jake Wong

Jake Wong is an experienced software developer with a strong background in full stack development and cloud technologies. Currently serving as an L2 Software Developer at TELUS since May 2021, responsibilities include modernizing legacy resource management tools using React, NodeJS, and GCP, as well as improving application deployment efficiency through automation. Previously, Jake held positions as a Technology Specialist (GTLP) at TELUS, executing micro-frontend architecture development and leading a digital strategy team. Earlier experiences include a Software Engineer Co-op role at Voronoi Health Analytics, an Applications Software Engineer Co-op position at Broadcom, and a Formulations Co-op at The Centre for Drug Research & Development. Jake graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Computer Science from The University of British Columbia in 2021.
