Jan Santos

Jan Santos is a design and planning professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and infrastructure development. Currently serving as a Design Specialist II at TELUS since November 2022, Jan has previously held roles at Shaw Communications as an Intermediate Planner and network planner, where responsibilities included managing project records, coordinating with stakeholders, and creating construction drawings for network upgrades. Prior to Shaw, Jan was an OSP Designer II at Ledcor, focusing on Fiber To The Premise (FTTP) designs and overseeing compliance with industry standards. Jan's background also includes work as an OP Design Technician at Encepta, data analysis in the telecommunications sector, and early experience as a GIS Technician with the Alberta Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Enhanced by a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Geographic Information Systems from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Jan possesses a strong foundation in design and technical skills.
