Jeff Thompson

Jeff Thompson is an experienced professional in real estate development and urban planning, currently serving as a Real Estate Development Manager at TELUS since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jeff worked as a Planner 1 for the City of Surrey, where responsibilities included reviewing and processing development applications and negotiating with stakeholders for project approvals. Jeff also held the position of Planning Analyst at the City of Burnaby, focusing on data analysis, policy development, and collaboration with various entities. Earlier roles included Planning Technician at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, where responsibilities encompassed processing development applications and delivering customer service. Jeff holds a Master of Planning from the University of Calgary and additional qualifications in GIS and community planning from Langara College and the University of British Columbia, respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
