Malvin Arevalo is a senior security consultant and DevSecOps engineer with over 14 years of experience in software development, information security, and cybersecurity. Currently at TELUS since 2018, they focus on modernizing and supporting security applications while addressing operational needs. Previously, Malvin held roles at notable organizations such as United Overseas Bank Limited, where they advanced to Assistant Vice President, and China Bank PH, where they pioneered the bank’s remittance system. Malvin has earned multiple certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, and Security+, and completed a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology Management at De La Salle University.
