Matthew Long is a seasoned Wireless Core Performance Engineer at TELUS since August 2009, with extensive experience in Wireless RF Engineering, strategic program management, and outside plant design. Responsibilities include overseeing LTEAWS overlay upgrades across various regions such as the BC interior and Vancouver Island, assisting with legacy system transitions, and utilizing TELUS GIS and Microstation for access network design. Prior to this, Matthew served as an Access Network Planner Co-op at TELUS Communication and gained foundational experience at Shell AlbianSands. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering in Telecommunication, Business, and Machine Learning, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from The University of British Columbia.
