Mia Lok, CPA, CA, is the Director of Internal Audit (SOX) at TELUS, bringing a wealth of experience in auditing and accounting from the biotech, pharmaceutical, technology, and telecommunications industries. They previously held roles as Corporate Controller at Trulioo, Senior Manager at Deloitte Canada, and Manager of Internal Audit & Special Projects at Cardiome Pharma Corp. Mia began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University, followed by a significant tenure at Deloitte LLP as a Manager in Assurance & Advisory. They hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and completed the UFE at the CA School of Business.
