Ruphin Matala

Ruphin Matala, CISA, PCI-QSA, PCIP, CISSP, PMP, is a Cybersecurity Consultant with a robust background spanning 16 years in enhancing organizations' Information Technology infrastructures and cybersecurity postures. Previously, Ruphin served as Team Lead for the Security Infrastructure Unit at Edmonton Police Service from 2011 to 2021 and held various roles including System Administrator at Haemonetics and Technical Support Specialist at Teleperformance. Currently, Ruphin is a Managing Consultant and GRC Security Architect at TELUS, where they develop and execute information security strategies aligned with corporate goals. Ruphin has a commitment to stay abreast of evolving IT trends and an aptitude for fostering strong relationships with co-workers and management. They are also engaged in continuing education at both Mount Royal College and Concordia University.
