Shinbo Won

Shinbo Won served as an Army Officer in the Republic of Korea Army from 1998 to 2001 before holding various leadership roles in corporate finance and investment stewardship. They worked at KT from 2002 to 2009, progressing through positions in Investor Relations, the CEO Office, and the Overseas Investment Team. They then joined Samsung Life Insurance in Investor Relations from 2011 to 2013, followed by a role at ISS as Vice President and later Executive Director in Korea Research until 2017. At BlackRock, Shinbo served from 2017 to 2022 as Head of Asia ex-Japan Investment Stewardship and Managing Director. They are currently a Managing Director at Temasek, beginning in 2025. Shinbo earned a BA in Economics from Yonsei University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley's Walter A. Haas School of Business.
