Temblor
Peter Bird is Emeritus Professor of Earth Sciences at UCLA. He is a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union and the Geological Society of America (GSA),and received the 2013 George P. Woollard Award of GSA, for outstanding contributions to geophysics and geodynamics. He is also the founding architect of the Global Earthquake Activity Model (Bird et al., 2015).
