Josh Young

President at Tempe Mechanical

Josh Young started their career in 2005 at Phoenix Pool as a Lifeguard and underwent refrigeration schooling. In 2006, they joined Tempe Mechanical as an HVAC Estimator, where they were responsible for day-to-day operations, estimating, hiring workers, and employee management. Josh later took on the role of Project Manager, organizing and implementing work for tendered and awarded projects. In 2015, they became the Vice President of New Construction, overseeing all contractors and subcontractors' work schedules and managing manpower and material ordering. In 2023, Josh Young was promoted to President of Tempe Mechanical. Throughout their career, they worked on notable projects, such as the design and construction of a temporary operating room facility and a LEED GOLD project. Under their leadership, Tempe Mechanical grew from an eight million dollar a year company to a seventeen million dollar a year company within a year.

Josh Young attended GateWay Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they studied HVAC/ refrigeration. Josh has not obtained any additional certifications.
