Jonathan Shuffield

Jonathan Shuffield is an experienced government relations professional, currently serving as the Director of Government Relations for the City of Tempe since February 2024. Prior to this role, Shuffield held various positions with the National Association of Counties, including Legislative Director and Associate Legislative Director for Public Lands. Shuffield’s experience in the U.S. House of Representatives includes serving as Legislative Director and working on staff management and legislative support. Additional roles encompass leadership positions within the Congressional Western Caucus and campaign management for political candidates. Shuffield's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
