Andy Mayes is an experienced professional in environmental consultancy, currently serving as Associate Director and Principal Consultant at Temple Group since June 2009. Mayes leads environmental assessments and optioneering for the High Speed Two (HS2) national UK rail infrastructure project, managing client and engineering interfaces while coordinating specialist inputs and public consultations. Previous roles include Senior Environmental Consultant and Environmental GIS Consultant at Temple Group, where responsibilities involved environmental appraisal and GIS data management related to HS2. Prior experience includes working as a Location Planning Analyst at CACI International Inc. and as a Consultant at Urban Science, with a focus on delivering location-based business solutions for automotive and retail sectors. Mayes holds an MSc in GIS and a BSc in Geography from the University of Leeds.
