Chris Ferrary

Chris Ferrary is a retired town and transport planner with nearly 45 years of experience in understanding the intricacies of cities, economies, and their transport systems. Their career began in the 1970s, designing town centre redevelopment projects in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and the UK. They have managed and directed Environmental Impact Assessments for significant transport investments, showcasing a deep knowledge of the interaction between travel and the natural environment. Chris previously served as a planner for the Greater London Council and held various esteemed positions, including Transport Planning Officer for the City of London and Technical Director at ERM. Currently enjoying retirement, Chris remains engaged with topics related to urbanism and transport.
