Alice Yin

Alice Yin began their work experience as a CSSA President at the Chinese Students and Scholars Association at UNH in 2012, where they hosted events and built a website. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire, focusing on extracting information from aerial imagery. In 2015, they interned as a Software Engineer at Amazon, contributing to the development of the Promotions Utility Belt Service. From 2016 to 2018, Alice worked at Microsoft as a Software Developer, involved in the migration of the Data Warehouse. In 2018, they joined Facebook as a Senior Software Engineer, working in the XStream Team to deliver a platform for Stream Processing. Alice then transitioned to Stripe in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, implementing high availability services and exploring new data system sources and sinks. Currently, Alice works at Temporal Technologies as a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Alice Yin completed their education with two Master's degrees. From 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Master's degree in Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained another Master's degree, specializing in Computer Science, from the same institution.
