Rob Thornton began their work experience as a Sr. Global Account Manager at Verizon Business in 2005, where they were responsible for global account management and executing an IT transformation strategy. Rob then joined CenturyLink Business for Enterprise in 2009, initially serving as a Global Accounts Leader before becoming a Global Account Director and later a Client Partner, where they played key roles in driving IT services and creating joint ventures with location-based application service providers. In 2015, they joined Pivotal Software, Inc., where they held multiple positions including Digital Strategy & Innovation Practice, Modern Application Platform specialist, and Enterprise Sales Leader for the Great Lakes region. In 2021, Rob joined DataStax as an Enterprise Sales Leader for Digital Natives. Currently, they are working at Temporal Technologies as an Enterprise Sales Leader, focusing on code smart, moving fast, and breaking nothing.
