Daniel Rabe

Senior Scientist

Daniel Rabe, PhD, is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in cancer biology and translational research. Daniel served as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School from October 2017 to May 2024, where notable contributions included the design of a new surface chemistry for microfluidic devices used in immunoassays, resulting in a patented technology. Daniel further advanced his career as a Senior Scientist at Tempus AI, starting in May 2024. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago and CRTA Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where projects led to presentations and publications that highlighted dynamic biomarkers in solid tumors. Daniel obtained a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Chicago, where significant research included developing a prognostic gene signature for triple-negative breast cancer and understanding macrophage recruitment. Additionally, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Art in Biological Chemistry and Chemistry and a Master of Science in Translational Research, all from the University of Chicago.
