Lee Langer

Lee Langer is a Senior Computational Biologist at Tempus Labs, Inc. since July 2019, where responsibilities include leveraging large multiomic and clinical datasets in collaboration with pharmaceutical partners to address clinical and pre-clinical questions. Langer previously served as a Computational Biologist and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences from October 2014 to July 2019, focusing on generating CRISPR-modified human embryonic stem cell lines and examining tumor suppressor roles in neural development. Earlier experience includes positions at the UNC Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Core Facility and Research Square, where Langer led a team to improve operational efficiency. As Managing Editor and Senior Editor at American Journal Experts, manuscript quality assurance and editing were key responsibilities. Langer earned a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a BA in Mathematics and Physics from St. Olaf College.
