Michelle Stein

Michelle Stein, PhD, is a seasoned professional in computational biology, currently serving as the Director of Computational Biology at Tempus Labs, Inc. since September 2018. Prior to this role, Michelle progressed through various titles at Tempus Labs, including Senior Computational Biologist and Computational Biologist. Michelle's academic background includes a PhD in Human Genetics obtained from the University of Chicago, where studies were completed between 2010 and 2017, following a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame, earned in 2010. Earlier experience at the University of Chicago involved a Postdoctoral Fellowship and graduate studies, which contributed to a strong foundation in the biological sciences and genetics.
