Paul Fields

Paul Fields is a seasoned professional in translational research and computational biology, currently serving as Senior Director of Translational Research at Tempus AI since July 2022. Previously, Paul held multiple roles at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. from June 2018 to July 2022, culminating in Associate Director of Computational Biology. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Washington, focusing on gene regulation in cardiogenesis and stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes, and serving as an Assistant Varsity Swim Coach at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Paul earned a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where studies were conducted from 2009 to 2015, and holds a BA in Biology from Pomona College, completed in 2009.
