Philippe Mathieu

Philippe Mathieu is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in machine learning and software development. Currently a Senior Staff Engineer at Tempus AI since September 2025, Philippe previously held similar senior-level positions at Paige from February 2021 to September 2025 and at Element AI from February 2017 to February 2021, where significant contributions included designing machine learning job workload scheduling on a large-scale Kubernetes cluster. Philippe's career began at Nortel in 1995, with subsequent roles at Movaz Networks, Tellabs, and Idilia, where expertise was demonstrated in various software development aspects, including system architecture and deployment of machine learning systems.
