Patrick Thornton

Vice President Sourcing and Production at Ten Thousand

Patrick Thornton began their career in 1985 as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young. In 1988 they moved to Macy's as a Senior Merchandising Manager. In 1997 they joined Loehmann's as a Divisional Merchandising Manager-Menswear. In 2001 they joined Brooks Brothers as a Vice President Global Product Development Sourcing/Costing, where they launched a global cost optimization function and recruited management teams in New York and Hong Kong. Patrick also developed and implemented organizational structure, business process, calendar and reporting for the new function. Patrick was then promoted to Vice President Global Product Development, where they recruited and developed management teams in New York and Hong Kong, and led a successful implementation of product cycle management (PLM) tool. Patrick was then promoted to Director Special Project-Global Transformation, where they championed the role as a primary leader in the global transformation of the company, developed business process for the global organization and gained alignment and support from top management. Patrick was also promoted to Director Product Development and Production-Menswear, Manager Product Development and Production, and Manager Merchandising. In 2020, they joined Ten Thousand, Inc. as Vice President Sourcing and Production.

Patrick Thornton attended Duke University, where they studied Economics, and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from New York University.
